DNA analysis as part of your consultation

As a certified iGenius practitioner, I work with the iGene Health test. If you’ve already taken this test, the data can be incorporated into your MenoWiser consultation. If you haven’t taken it yet but would like to order one, you can do so here. This gives you insight not only into what is happening now, but also into why your system responds the way it does.

A DNA test is not required. The MenoWiser model also works without one, but combining the two adds an additional layer of precision.

How a consultation works

Every consultation follows the same structure, not because we use a standard protocol, but because the order matters. What you address first can determine whether an intervention helps or has the opposite effect.

01

01

Intake, understanding your situation
Before your consultation, you’ll complete an extensive intake form covering your symptoms, stage of life, stress load, capacity for recovery and, where relevant, DNA and blood test results. This isn’t a standard questionnaire. It forms the foundation of the analysis that follows. During your consultation, we’ll go through your intake in detail.

02

02

Analysis, the system behind your symptoms

Based on your intake, a neuroendocrine profile is created. Which clusters are dominant? What is the state of your stress system? Is your body ready for hormonal intervention, or does something else need to be regulated first?

03

03

Integration, understanding what’s really going on

Not all symptoms are equally urgent. At this stage, we distinguish between what is primary and what is secondary, what may be the underlying cause and what may be the consequence. That distinction determines the strategy

04

04

Recommendations, your recovery pathway in the right order

You’ll receive a personalised report with a recovery strategy tailored to you. Concrete, structured in the right order and, where appropriate, accompanied by an evidence-based letter for your doctor, so you can go into the conversation with your healthcare provider well prepared.

05

05

Optional follow-up

Would you like further guidance? You can book a follow-up consultation. We’ll build on what we already know and make adjustments where needed.

What a consultation is not

  • It is not a medical consultation. For medical diagnosis and prescription medication, you remain under the care of your GP or specialist.
  • It is not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Every recommendation is specific to you.
  • It is not a substitute for a psychologist or therapist in cases of severe mental health problems.
